Owner & Founder / Accounts Payable & HR
Dean Kelly is the founder and owner of Carpet Baggers flooring since 1992. Dean is blessed to have his wife of 34 years, Lou Ann, by his side. Dean and Lou Ann have three daughters, Sam, Parker and Sydney. They currently reside in Ravenel with their dog Hank. Deans’ hobbies include playing softball, watching his favorite sports teams and being active in the community. He has enjoyed his years of owning and operating Carpet Baggers and is proud of all of our accomplishments, especially that we are part of the Best of Charleston (City Paper) for another year. Dean strives to create an environment where his staff and customers all feel like family.
Lou Ann Kelly has been a part of Carpet Baggers from the very beginning, always supporting her husband, Dean Kelly, in growing the business and handling our accounting and human resources. Lou Ann loves to cook, play tennis, go camping and spend time with her grandson Preston.
General Manager
Sean has been working in the flooring business since 2001 and currently serves as our General Manager. He currently lives in Hanahan with his wife, Susan and his two children, Austin and Georgia and two dogs, Fred and Ginger. In his spare time, he enjoys watching his favorite sports teams, working on his mustang, cooking, and spending time with his family.
Sales Manager/ Sales Consultant
Sydney has been working in the flooring business since 2017 at Carpet Baggers. She currently resides in West Ashley with her dog Ellie. She enjoys physical fitness, spending time with friends, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
Office Manager
Jenny has been a part of the Carpet Baggers family since 2006 and currently serves as our Office Manager. She currently resides on Johns Island with her husband, Michael and their two dogs. She is a proud Charlestonian who is active at Seacoast Church. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, boating, and rooting for the SC Gamecocks!
Accounts Receivable/Financing Specialist
Traci has been a part of the Carpet Baggers family since 2016, and she is currently the Accounts Receivable Manager and Financing Specialist. She lives in Ridgeville with her husband, Rick, who is also a part of our team. He binds and surges all of our rugs and stair runners. Traci’s hobbies include volunteering with the children's ministry at their local church, watching TV/Movies, and travelling.
Installation Manager
John has been in the flooring business since 1995. John lives in Summerville with his wife, Sandra. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his grandson Nicholas.
Sales Consultant
Kim has been a part of the Carpet Baggers family since 2004. She currently lives in West Ashley with her husband Hugh, their two children and their two dogs, Benny and Hamilton. In her free time, she enjoys camping, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.

Scott, also known as “Speedy” around the office, has worked in the flooring business since 1993 and has worked for Carpet Baggers since 2005. He currently resides in Mt. Pleasant with his wife Jill and two children. His hobbies include fishing, running and watching sports.
Sales Consultant
David has worked in the flooring business since 1993. He took a break to pursue his music career for 17 years and joined the Carpet Baggers family again in 2017. He currently resides in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Julianne and their daughter. When he is not playing music all over the Low Country, he enjoys spending time with his family and boating.
Sales Consultant
Jim has worked in the flooring business since 1992. He was an installer for Carpetbaggers since 2006 and has now been in sales since 2012. Jim lives in Summerville with his wife, Tina, and their two daughters. He served in the Air Force for four years prior. When he's not boating or camping, Jim enjoys cooking and grilling.
Sales Consultant
Gary has worked in the flooring business since 1980 and has been with Carpet Baggers since 2014. He currently resides on Johns Island with his wife, Jana and his dog Walker. In his free time, Gary enjoys travelling, spending time with his kids and his grandkids, and smoking a savory cigar.

Anthony has worked in the flooring business since 2003 and has worked at Carpet Baggers since 2013. He currently resides on Johns Island with his wife Lisa and dog Zuzu. His hobbies include golfing, listening to music, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Katie has been working in the flooring business since 2007 and has worked for Carpet Baggers since 2014. She currently resides in North Charleston with her husband Greg and their two dogs, Mollie and Boo. She enjoys being an aunt to her nieces and nephews, traveling to see her favorite band Phish, and cooking.

Parker has been with us since 2021 and is one of our sales consultants. She lives in West Ashley with her husband, Daniel and their two cats, Jaspurr and Ginger. Parker's hobbies include outdoor adventures, travelling, and enjoying the local cuisine.
Sales Consultant / Interior Designer
Olivia joined our team in 2022 and is one of our sales consultants and our interior designer. She graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and shortly after moved to the area. Olivia currently lives in North Charleston, and in her free time she loves to go to the beach, travel, attend concerts, and read.
Sales Support
Georgia joined our Sales Support team in Spring 2024, and she also handles our digital marketing. Born and raised in the Charleston area, and now resides in West Ashley. In her free time, she enjoys reading, art, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Our warehouse staff helps to make sure all other parts of the business flow smoothly. They keep the warehouse organized and thriving. Between dropping off deliveries and receiving orders, they are constantly busy helping out our sales staff and customers with their orders. We could not run this business without them!
